The first project I am tackling this year is a sound replacement for a scene in Coraline. I picked this scene with my project partner Carissa because we wanted to do something that we could make professional looking as well as something fun and creative. I wanted something for my portfolio that I could demonstrate my sound design techniques effectively through as well as my ability to make a slick sound replacement.

Tools we will need for ADR include:

2x microphones

-1 x NT2A

- 1 x AKG C41

2 x Voice actors (Carissa playing Coraline and myself playing the 'Other Mother')

1 x Recording session this week

Tools we need for foley;

2 x microphones (Rode Nt2 and Pencil microphone)

foley pit

1 x recording foley session (Tuesday 19/2/2019)

here is the foley and ADR list for tomorrows foley session in C24

We intend on using our imagination for the foley as we go. The foley pit has just about everything we need for basics like foot steps and the metal clang of the spider web. We also need to get some sort of wind chimes to replicate the sound of the wind in the spider web. There is a lot of the same sounds

Carissa and I have put together a list of things we need to consider when making any type of project and the risks involved (included in pre production plan)
